who am I?
| My name is Teri, I was born to this life the seventh day of December in the year ninteen hundred sixty-one in Ocean County, New Jersey , Sagittarius, sign of the Centaur ruled by Saturn (celtic astrology ) shaded by the Elder tree and a keeper of the fire. I have a great love and respect for the earth and it's manifestation in all creatures. I am impatient and passionate I set my goals and work towards attaining them. I loathe emotional game-playing, am very direct and expect no less in return. Respect for someone who feels they can not be honest, is quickly lost and seldom regained. |  |
My past: I grew up on a farm (yes folks there are farms in NJ) and was " working the fields " as soon as I could walk, learned to handle a gun, drive a tractor and love nature. I've raised horses, sheep, swine, poultry, ferrets, chinchillas,camines, snakes, tarantuallas, fish just about anything with legs or that slithers. I worked as a vet tech ( until I realized I needed another job to support the strays that made their way into my home and heart) . I spent a few years in St. Pete, Fl as a manager for a Mexican fast food chain . . . Made my way back up to toNJ to work as real estate agent , part of zoning and planning compliance for a small municipality , and political activist Now, I'm in San Antonio, biding time as a computer geek, webmistress and recentlly terminated from a job as one of "our operators are standing by" at a dungeon they refer to as the "Most respected name in Teleservices" for making derogatory remarks about the company. I'm waiting to see what they do with the other 99.75 percent of the employees (educated guess on the percentage of people who have had less than kind things to say about the company. The garden is always growing and changing the same rock starts this one that began the last one I write, some published some on pieces of paper , a fast food napkin, the little piece of paper from a fortune cookie. An attempt to take words that the eyes see , the spirit feels , and the heart understands. Some are from experiences, others from dreams or perhaps memories yet to come .
I spend a lot of time with books, and will read anything from novels to the side of a cereal box . There is almost always music in the air, Country Western, Celtic ,Croce, Classical, Zeppelin occassionally My tastes in music are as varied as in reading.
My future: No one knows what comes with the rising of the new sun ....reach for the stars... and never give up on your dreams they are the realities of tomorrow~
